Help with Cernidia

Support & contact

Email cernidia@gmx.de for help or to report an issue.

Where possible, include the app version, iPhone/Watch model and iOS/watchOS version. Briefly explain what happened. Please do not send Health exports, Calendar content, passwords or access tokens.

Data and permissions

You can review Health, Calendar and notification permissions in Apple Settings. Connections are optional.

Withdraw consent and delete health data

In Cernidia, open “Settings → Privacy & support → Withdraw consent and delete health data” and confirm. This stops Cernidia's health processing and removes its saved health summaries, WHOOP connection and cached records, health check-ins, notes and workout diary. Tasks and routines stay. Original records in Apple Health and WHOOP are not deleted.

A paired Apple Watch receives the change when it reconnects. If the Watch is offline, stop any active Cernidia workout on it yourself. Technical hosting logs have separate retention periods. Local deletion does not remove those logs, previously created system backups or records at Apple Health and WHOOP.

“Settings → Privacy & data → Clear local health summaries”, followed by “Clear local summaries” and confirmation, clears saved health summaries, health check-ins and notes, the manual workout diary and derived context. It keeps consent, connections and the separate WHOOP copy, so connected sources can supply data again. Disconnect Apple Health or revoke its read permissions to stop new Apple Health reads. Use the withdrawal action above to stop health processing entirely. If you are using an older TestFlight build without the consent controls, update the app, disconnect your sources and contact support if you need help.

No product analytics

Cernidia does not record or send app usage events. There is no analytics consent choice or setting. The app continues to process the health signals you select locally. Optional WHOOP sign-in and technical hosting logs are described in the privacy policy.

Disconnect WHOOP

Disconnect the direct WHOOP connection under “Settings → WHOOP → Disconnect WHOOP” and confirm “Disconnect and delete saved WHOOP data”. This removes local WHOOP records and tokens and requests revocation at WHOOP. If the app cannot confirm revocation, remove Cernidia's authorization in WHOOP as well. If you are no longer connected but saved WHOOP records remain and you have current health-processing consent, the withdrawal above removes them together with the other local health data. If that control is missing, contact support. Original records remain in WHOOP or Apple Health. Read the privacy policy for details.
