WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
What an energy estimate can tell you, and why it is not a measurement.
What is the Battery report?
When suitable data is available, the Battery report provides a calculated estimate on a scale from 0 to 100. It does not measure a biological energy reserve. Cernidia is an independent product with its own model, rather than a transfer of another provider's metric.
A precise-looking percentage can suggest more certainty than the records support. Sources, uncertainty and the difference between a recording and an estimate belong alongside the number.
What can contribute to the estimate?
The estimate can start from interpretable sleep or recovery signals. Suitable quiet-context information, interpretable completed workouts and a recent energy check-in may add context. A saved activity does not automatically support a meaningful adjustment.
A check-in remains your subjective report. It cannot replace missing health evidence or create a Battery score by itself. Without sufficient starting data, the estimate stays unknown.
History and forecast mean different things
Saved history points are earlier calculations at their recorded times. The gaps are not a continuous sensor recording. A forecast based on your planned day describes a possible model scenario, rather than a measured future state.
Use the report to reflect on whether your plan fits how you feel. Making a task smaller or leaving room for a break is your choice. Cernidia does not guarantee a particular energy curve or improved performance.
What do you need?
An Apple Watch can provide suitable records through Apple Health. Access remains optional. Even with a connected source, a personal assessment depends on records actually being readable and suitable.
Without a wearable, you can still use tasks, routines and check-ins. Those features do not create unsupported personal health values.
A few things to know.
Does the app measure my actual physical battery?
No. Battery is Cernidia's own model estimate. It is not a measurement of biological energy or a medically validated assessment.
Can a check-in replace a missing score?
No. A check-in adds context to suitable starting evidence. It cannot create a Battery score when usable health evidence is insufficient.
