WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
How your iPhone, Health records and Watch companion work together.
What role does Apple Watch play?
Apple Watch can supply suitable sleep, heart and activity records through Apple Health. Availability depends on your model, settings and actual recordings. Cernidia reviews suitable records you have permitted it to read on your iPhone.
The companion supports everyday actions: see your current and next activity, record an energy check-in and add heart-rate context to workouts you choose to start.
A quick check-in adds your perspective
Some information only comes from you, including how energetic you feel right now. A check-in records that perspective. It remains a self-report, separate from sensor readings.
Your next look at the signals can include your own experience. A high or low check-in cannot replace missing measurements and is not a diagnosis.
Start workouts intentionally
Cernidia can add heart-rate context to a workout you start on the Watch and save that workout to Apple Health. Suitable completed sessions may contribute context later. Duration alone does not establish how demanding a workout was for you.
Available context depends on the records. Cernidia does not prescribe training or replace individual professional advice on health or exercise.
Connection and compatibility
The Watch complements the iPhone app. A temporary loss of connection can delay new data or settings changes until the devices reconnect. Current information requires the relevant communication and permissions.
No Cernidia account is required. Apple Health and Calendar remain optional. Check the current App Store listing for device and operating-system compatibility. iPhone and Apple Watch are sold separately.
A few things to know.
Can I use Cernidia without Apple Watch?
Yes. Tasks, routines and check-ins remain available. A direct WHOOP connection is optional. Personal health assessments still require suitable data.
Does the Watch app replace the iPhone app?
Cernidia is an iPhone app with an Apple Watch companion. Detailed setup and context are provided on iPhone.
